KSA follows the Islamic Hijri Calender that commemorates 622(AD) migration of Prophet Mohammad - Allah's blessings and peace be upon him - from Makkah and Madinah. A Hijri year is  a year of 12 months, but the count of days is 10 to 11 days less than Gregorian year. There are 29 or 30 days in a Hijri month.
